"We are all just walking each other home."
This quote by Ram Dass grabbed my attention so strongly one day and has never let go. I'll be honest, I have no idea who he is or what he stands for. All I know is that the phrase itself is something that God used to focus my personal journey/mandate with laser accuracy.
As ordinary people who try to live by the teachings of Scripture, it is not always easy to keep going while we are in (what my brother refers to as) this 'meat suit'. I can think of a few other descriptions I have heard through the years, but meat suit seems as good as any to me. The point is, we are flesh and bone in an imperfect world, holding onto faith that what is coming next is a far better place.
And sometimes, we need a little help on the journey. Personally, I have needed a little help on the journey. My experience with life coaching changed my view of myself, this life, my mission, my beliefs, other people, and all that encompasses this journey I'm on. Because of my life coaching experience, I knew I wanted to offer that same experience to others. A godly perspective for the anxiety-inducing, boundary-pushing, overwhelming, sometimes chaotic existence that we seem to find ourselves in. Peace can seem elusive, but I have found that is only because it lives in the quiet spaces within us. Those places we do not get to visit very often - until the day we discover how much better it is to reside there - then it is near impossible to get us to leave. |
It is an honor to walk with you and help find the techniques right for you, so to fill your journey with the peace needed to quit allowing life to dictate your direction.
Peace is an attainable destination.
What area of life would you focus on first?
